Little Sprouts Playhouse
Play and Learn Community …
… providing young children with a play and learning experience that fosters self-confidence and the pride of accomplishment, development of a positive attitude toward learning, and the ability to work cooperatively and independently for sustained periods of time. Using a Montessori inspired curriculum children, ages 2 through 4 years, concentrate on developmentally appropriate academic tasks, patience and self-control, and learning to work and play in harmony with other children. Time for practicing the skills of independence is offered daily. Combined with engagement in creative play, dance, other cooperative activities, and periods of free play we create days of gentle rhythms, smooth transitions and structured fun!
The Play and Learn Community includes an early literacy curriculum, a developmentally appropriate art and art appreciation curriculum, early childhood music and instrument play, as well as an introduction to basic elements of science.
